Hypershell Pro X for Person with Parkinson's Diseae (PwP)

The Hypershell has been helpful in allowing me to walk farther and faster than was possible using a cane (my previous "personal mobility device"). And at least one time it saved me from falling down a steep paved hiking path that was very slippery due to be dusted with sand. As I felt myself falling forward, the Hypershell kept throwing my feet forward giving me time to recover. With my primary motor symptoms from PD being shuffling gait and freezing, the Hyperhell definitely helps to keep me going. While the Hypershell is not exactly designed to get me started after a feezing episode, it feels like whenever I am able to throw a leg out in front of me, the Hypershell responds with a couple of exaggerated steps before settling in with my set mode. Once I get going again the Hypershell helps to lengthen my stride and keeps my freezing under control.

We were in Paris recently and there were crowds everywhere (a nightmare scenario for many PwP) The Hypershell allowed me to get into museums where I could transfer to a museum owned wheelchair (always at no charge). Having my own wheelchair would have been very inconvenient (getting it up and down steps to get into museums/the opera/the ballet. Without the Hypershell, I would not have been able to walk an average of over 4 miles a day over cobblestone streets that were swarming with people. In spite of the challenges, we had an amazing trip that totally exceeded our expectations for what was going to be possible for me.

Functionally, I feel that the HypershelI could be improved in a couple of areas. I found the lights on the motor that indicate what mode I was in were difficult to read given their placement and I have yet to master getting into the different modes (1 thru 4 green lights and 1 thru 4 red lights and the blues lights, but I am confident that I will master them over time. For roughly the cost of a low end powered wheel chair, the Hypershell provides a unique mobility solution that enables successfully navigating over rough terrain that would be almost impossible by wheelchair or scooter.

I absolutely luv this product, I use it for work as I walk all night on the rail. And it helps me so much to take the load of me knees. Only thing that it could do with is braces that go over your shoulders to stop it for dropping down. Other than that highly recommended this product.

I have spinal damage with neuro deficits in my legs. I absolutely love the exoskeleton! I can now walk longer, faster and with much less pain. I take it with me everywhere and can’t imagine not having it now!

I’ve been a photographer professionally for 50 years. Shooting all over the world and in some very crazy places.

Currently, I’m 72 years old and now I’ve developed arthritis in my legs and hip yet I am still photographing luxury premium properties in Northern Ontario. In an area called Muskoka. These properties have huge, Main houses and Boathouses. With major stairways and walkways down to the lake from the main cottage, which is really hard on my legs. Especially going up and down a few times per photography session. Some of the properties are so big it takes me 4 to 6 hours to photograph one. I saw an ad for the hyper shell and purchased one about three weeks ago. It has been a lifesaver and really helps my long days. I wear it as much as I can even on the weekends when I’m not working and I’m just hiking with my partner. What a tremendous product. It sure has saved my very tired legs and keeps my heart rate at a much better pace while I’m working. Thank you and please keep me informed of any updates or new technologies that would go with my Hypershell. As I use it every day.
I can usually get by with the two batteries that came with the product, however, it would be great to have another battery or 2 and the charger for when I’m in remote property areas. That will be my next purchase. Thanks again. The Hypershell is absolutely amazing.

The only thing I could say is I’m 6 foot two with a large build and it would be nice if the Eco mode was a bit stronger. Not necessary as strong as a hyper mode, but I find the Eco mode, even on maximum, is just not quite enough. I wish there was something in between Eco and Hyper mode.
